Landssamtök íslenskra stúdenta (LÍS) auglýsa eftir áhugasömum einstaklingum í alþjóðanefnd, jafnréttisnefnd, gæðanefnd, viðburðanefnd, lagabreytinganefnd, fjármálanefnd og markaðsnefnd.

Hvað er LÍS?

Landssamtök íslenskra stúdenta voru stofnuð í nóvember árið 2013 sem hagsmunasamtök allra íslenskra stúdenta. Lestu meira hér www.haskolanemar.is/about/

Hversu margir komast að?

Við viljum taka við tveimur einstaklingum í hverja nefnd og umsóknarfrestur er til kl: 23:59 þann 17. september. Umsóknir má senda á lis@haskolanemar.is með fyrirsögninni: Umsókn í Nefnd. Umsækjendur þurfa að vera í háskólanámi eða að ekki sé meira en ár liðið frá því að umsækjandi var háskólanemi.

Alþjóðanefnd

Alþjóðanefnd sér um að sinna alþjóðlegum skuldbindingum LÍS, sækja fróðleik til erlendra stúdenta og færa þann fróðleik heim til Íslands. Framundan er eitt stærsta verkefni alþjóðanefndar en það er að halda fjölþjóðlegan fund í Reykjavík í apríl á næsta ári. Vilt þú taka þátt í almennu alþjóðastarfi LÍS, aðstoða við skipulagningu fundarins, kynnast og mynda tengsl við fulltrúa landsstamtaka annara landa? Ef svo er mátt þú endilega senda okkur stutta lýsingu á þér og svara spurningunni: Hvers vegna vilt þú starfa í alþjóðanefnd LÍS?

Jafnréttisnefnd

Jafnréttisnefnd tekur þátt í og sér um öll þau verkefni og viðburði sem LÍS tekur sér fyrir hendur sem tengjast jafnréttismálum sem og að vinna að sjálfstæðum verkefnum. Jafnréttisnefnd ber ábyrgð á því að jafnrétti sé framfylgt í öllum málum og skal vera framkvæmdarstjórn LÍS til leiðbeiningar og ráðgjafar þegar jafnrétti kemur til sögunnar í störfum og málefnum stjórnar. Jafnréttisnefnd óskar eftir umsækjendum sem hafa einlægan áhuga á jafnréttismálum stúdenta og á að starfa á því sviði innan LÍS. Ef þú hefur áhuga á stöðu innan nefndarinnar, skrifaðu þá stutta lýsingu á þér og þínum hugmyndum um störf jafnréttisnefndar LÍS.

Gæðanefnd

Gæðanefnd hefur það að markmiði að efla þátttöku stúdenta í gæðaúttektum og efla áhuga hins almenna stúdents á gæðamálum. Gæðanefnd starfar náið með Rannís og gæðastjórum háskólanna. Vilt þú efla gæði háskólanáms á Íslandi? Sendu okkur þá stutta lýsingu á þér sem og svar við spurningunni: Hvers vegna vilt þú starfa í Gæðanefnd LÍS?

Viðburðanefnd

Viðburðanefnd LÍS kemur að skipulagningu og framkvæmd allra viðburða samtakanna. Á þessu ári kemur viðburðanefndin til með að koma að skiplagningu málþinga um málefni líðandi stunda, vísindaferða, NOM (Nordiskt Ordförande Möte) og landsþings LÍS. Hefur þú brennandi áhuga á skipulagningu viðburða? Sendu þá umsókn ásamt stuttri lýsingu af þér.

Markaðsnefnd

Markaðsnefnd LÍS hefur það að markmiði að koma samtökunum á framfæri innan hákskólasamfélagsins og efla þekkingu stúdenta á réttindum sínum í námi ýmist í gegnum netið, prent, póst eða hvað eina sem þarf til. Hefur þú áhuga á að vinna í almannatenglsum, grafískri hönnun eða efla þekkingu stúdenta á réttindum sínum? Sendu þá umsókn ásamt stuttri lýsingu af þér.

Lagabreytinganefnd

Lagabreytinganefnd sér um að endurskoða lög LÍS á hverju ári og tryggja að þau séu í samræmi við starf samtakanna og að samtökin fari eftir lögunum í hvívetna. Þá skal lagabreytinganefnd endurskoða verklagsreglur samtakanna á hverju ári. Lagabreytinganefnd óskar eftir umsækjendum sem hafa áhuga á lögum og lagabreytingum. Lögfræðiþekking er ekki skilyrði en þó kostur. Ef þú hefur áhuga sendu stutta lýsingu af þér ásamt ástæðu umsóknar.

Fjármálanefnd

Fjármálanefnd sér um utanumhald fjármála og bókhalds LÍS auk fjármögnunar samtakanna. Því er óskað eftir einstaklingum sem hafa áhuga á annað hvort fjármálum eða fjáröflun, þátttaka í nefndinni getur m.a. falið í sér vinnu tengda bókhaldi og ársreikningagerð, eða samskipti við styrktaraðila, gerð styrkjaumsókna o.fl. Hafir þú áhuga á einhverju framangreindu, endilega sendu okkur stutta lýsingu á þér og ástæðu umsóknar.

The National Association of Icelandic Students (LIS) encourage interested people to apply for any the following committees: International committee, Equal rights committee, Quality Assurance committee, Events committee, Legislative committee, finance committee  and Marketing committee.

What is LIS?

The national Union of Icelandic Students were established in November 2013 as interest groups for all Icelandic students. Read more here: www.haskolanemar.is/english/

How many people is LÍS looking for?

We want to add two individuals to each committee and the deadline is on the 17th of September before 23:59. Applications may be submitted to lis@haskolanemar.is headed: Committee application. Applicants must be university students or no more than a year has passed since the applicant was a university student.

The International Committee

The committee is responsible for all International obligations of LÍS. It gathers knowledge from foreign student unions and brings that knowledge back to Iceland.  Ahead is one of the largest projects the committee has undertaken and that is the preparation of a transnational student meeting in Reykjavík in April 2017. Would you like to participate in the general LIS international efforts, assist in the organization of the meeting, meet and form relationships with representatives from other European National Associations of students? If so, please send us a brief description about yourself and answer the question: Why do you want to work in the LÍS International Committee?s

The Equal Rights Committee

The Equal Rights Committee is involved in and responsible for all the tasks and events that LIS undertakes related to equality in all forms as well as working on independent projects. The Committee is responsible for overseeing that equality is implemented in all of LIS´s activities and shall guide and advise LIS if equality issues arise. The committee wishes for applicants who have a keen interest in student equal rights and wish to work in that field within LIS. If you are interested in a position within the committee, please write a brief description of yourself and your ideas of projects for the committee.

Quality Assurance Committee

The Quality Assurance Committee aims to promote the participation of students in quality revision and raise awareness of all students in quality assurance. The Committee works closely with the Icelandic Centre for Research and the university's Quality managers. Would you like to enhance the quality of university education in Iceland? Send us a brief description of you and answer the question: Why do you want to work in the LÍS Quality Committee?

Event Committee

The LIS Event Committee plans and executes all events of the association. This term the committee will plan symposiums on current affairs, field trips, NOM (The Nordic Presidential meeting) and the LIS national congress. Do you have a burning interest in organization of events? Send us an application along with a brief description of you.

Marketing Commitee

The LIS Marketing Committee aims to bring the organization forward within the university community and enhance the knowledge of students on their rights in education either through the internet, print, mail or whatever is needed. Are you interested in working in public relation, graphic design or enhancing the knowledge of students on their rights? Send us an application along with a brief description of you.

Legislative committee

The Legislative committee reviews LIS´s laws each year to ensure that they are consistent with the organization and the organization complies with the law in all respects. The committee also reviews all procedures of the association each year. The Legislative Committee wishes for applicants interested in law and legal amendments. Knowledge of the law is not necessary, but beneficial. If you are interested send a brief description of you along with reason for applying.

The Finance Committee

The Finance Committee’s role is to is to provide financial oversight for the organization, including budgeting and financial planning as well as funding the organization. The Committee therefore seeks an individual interested in either finance or organizational funding. If any of these matters interest you please send us a short description of yourself as well as reasons for applying.
