Ert þú næsti framkvæmdastjóri LÍS?
Samkvæmt lögum LÍS sinnir framkvæmdastjóri daglegum rekstri og hefur yfirumsjón með fjármálum samtakanna. Framkvæmdastjóri ber m.a. ábyrgð á því að greiða þau gjöld er samtökunum ber að greiða, innheimta kröfur, sér um gerð fjárhagsáætlunar og hefur prókúru fyrir reikningum samtakanna. Framkvæmdastjóri hefur rétt til setu, málfrelsi og tillögurétt á öllum fundum fulltrúaráðs og framkvæmdastjórnar en ekki atkvæðisrétt. Framkvæmdastjóri fer fyrir fjármálanefnd en hún hefur það verkefni að sækja um styrki fyrir hönd félagsins og skipulagningu viðburða.

Framkvæmdastjóri verður ráðinn í 40% starf frá 1. ágúst næstkomandi til 1. júní 2023 (með möguleika á áframhaldandi starfi) og hefur vinnuaðstöðu á skrifstofu LÍS í Borgartúni 6, 105 Reykjavík. Laun eru samkvæmt kjarasamningum.

LÍS are seeking a new executive director!
According to LÍS's law, the managing director handles day-to-day operations and oversees the association's finances. The managing director is responsible for e.g. is responsible for paying the fees that the association must pay, collects claims, takes care of the preparation of the budget and has a power of attorney for the association's accounts. The Executive Director has the right to sit, speak and make proposals at all meetings of the Representative Council and the Executive Board, but not the right to vote. The managing director is in charge of the finance committee, which has the task of applying for grants on behalf of the company and organizing events.
The job offers great experience from the work of NGOs and is well suited to schools.
Qualification requirements:
Knowledge and experience of finance and accounting
An education that is useful in the job is an advantage
Good interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of Icelandic and English
Independent and disciplined work methods
Other knowledge and experience that is useful in the job
The executive director will be hired for a 40% job from 1 st August next to 1st of June 2023 (with the possibility of continuing work) and has work facilities at the LÍS office in Borgartún 6, 105 Reykjavík. Wages are according to wage agreements.
